Got the same error messages as Jarrod, found this
http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.ini-set.php
and added this line in flickr-js.php at “wp-content/plugins/photo-dropper/”

ini_set('display_errors', 0);

still got the Deprecated errors and Warnings, but after the search finished, it work.

Trying to use with Wordpress 2.9.2 and nothing was happening. Turns out some some of the PHP is deprecated and the error messages telling me this was leaking into the Javascript. Turning off PHP Error Messages cleaned-up the Javascript and all is now working.

Great plugin? Wonder if it would be possible to allow multiple selections in one search? It consumes a lot of bandwidth (plus slow) to include one photo at a time. Thanks

Like Alessandra nine months ago, nothing happens when I click “search”…. I’m running wp 2.8 with the latest (1.0.8) photodropper. Any ideas? Neither interface type seems to work.

I started using this photodropper today and it worked for a little while now it returns no pictures at all. Click search and nothing. I loved it while it worked and it stopped working the same day. Any help of direction is appreciated. Im using wp 2.7 and the newest photodropper 1.0.8.

Also when it worked for a few hours I could not get it to text wrap. Tried many variations.
Im sad now.

I just found this tool and it’s awesome! It’s working just fine for me and I’m using the FLEX theme. I agree with Sean’s suggestions above.. being able to have a default setting for photo’s like left alighed 1 px border 5×5 margins etc. It’s a great tool, thanks again!

Hey guys,

I too am using Wordpress 2.7 and the problems encountered in comments #15 and #17 were also driving me crazy until I found a solution that worked for me. Simply rename the plugin directory containing photo dropper to “photo-dropper” and everything should be fine. I was compelled to do this as I noticed the image that’s supposed to appear when I add a new post to my blog kept failing to do so, and so I checked why this was and lo and behold, the directory being referenced was “photo-dropper”. I renamed it and voila, everything was perfect. Hope this helps.

Could you update this very handy utility to support captions in WordPress 2.7.x? I know you can add your own tags around it in the plugin’s settings dialog, but this is very cumbersome and direct captioning support (along with the ability to enter other image attributes a la the normal WP image upload box, such as alt and title text, image dimensions, etc) would make this tool even more outstanding and useful.

Thanks for your consideration and hard work in making this tool available to us!
